Free Source code for you to download or cut and paste at will. I will offer a certain amount of help by email or skype etc., to anyone who tries these programs.

When you have the programs on your MV server here are some checks to run to see that things are working properly

You are free to download the code without registering but you can register here and I'll add you to my private email address book.

Downloading and Installing

There are a number of programs and you can download the zip file of all of the programs together and then unzip them and transfer them onto your MV database server machine.

Alternatively you can refer to the Source code listing and work and install the MVtools editor one program at a time until the editor can be invoked from TCL (The command line) using the command

SED Filename Item-id

When you have the editor working you can see that it is working and you will know that you have installed the code successfully. Later you can unzip or cut and paste the other programs to do other things.

Create each program in the list on the Right and compile them all. Start by creating a file/directory for your basic programs (Note: on the MVSystem the programs will be refered to as Items although they exist as files on this web page. So we create a File on our MV database system to contain all these basic programs as Items on that file.

Start by creating the two key include programs / items mvcommon and mvequate

You could set yourself the aim of installing the editor or a data entry screen and working towards installing the required code for whatever you feel like having.
