The multivalued database type must be stored on the system setup properties.
File: MVOB Item: SPECSince august 2004 Jbase has been added!!
I,m looking at Open QM now
If using the unknown type then MVtools will set up the simplest possible installation to maximise the chances of actually working In this mode the editor will not have backspace and delete. If you have another system type not listed then there are instructions for how to port the MVtools to another Multivalued database type
If you decide to use the last resort type ‘MV’
You should use the
DEFAULT terminal
Set this from TCL using the
command MVTERM and taking the ‘C’ option to change to DEFAULT
if enother terminal definition is being used. This default
terminal definition does not use any escape code sequences
which can’t be detected in the MVGETCHR keyboard input routine.
Type MVKEYS to display the keyboard characters for the current
loaded terminal definition as shown on the MVTERM command.
