MVtools user Set Up - Like all administration this is an optional extra with MVtools. Mvtools can happily be used within an existing administration system

Delegation of System setup Through User Profiles
MVtools allows certain users to setup other users with access to all the parts of the system that they can access themselves.
This makes administration of large systems easier to manage as staff changes don't cause a problem. Each team of users can be self administrating

Heirarchical security levels have been added to user profiles. These don't have to be used but give extra options when setting up an application where restricted access is required. user group profiles and menu options so that users can administer ‘lower level’ users providing they themselves have access to the option USRMAN

Rules include :
  1. Can’t change your own User level
  2. Can’t change a higher level user profile than your own
  3. Can’t access a group profile higher than your own
  4. Can’t change a group or user profile level up above your own.
